An incredible amount of endocrinological and physiological changes happen during pregnancy. Chiropractic care can help the body better adapt to these changes, thus helping achieve a healthier pregnancy. Along with relieving symptoms of discomfort, chiropractic care can balance the pelvis to provide an optimal environment for your baby.
Come see why we pride ourselves on being the premier choice for prenatal chiropractic care, we promise you’ll notice the difference!
The webster technique is a specific chiropractic pelvis analysis and diversified adjustment, primarily for pregnant women. The goal of the adjustment is to reduce the effects of sacral subluxation/SI joint dysfunction. Babies like to move A LOT, and a misaligned pelvis will restrict the space available for your developing baby and obstruct their normal movements. Pelvic misalignments also makes it difficult for your baby to move into the best position to be born, which is rear-facing with their head down. A balanced pelvis may increase the chances of your baby moving into an optimal birth position, leading to a quicker and easier delivery. In one study, women receiving chiropractic care from a trained perinatal chiropractor through their first pregnancy had 24% shorter labor times than the group not receiving perinatal chiropractic care. Dr. Mace is the only Webster-Certified Chiropractor in Solon, Ohio and confident in her ability to help you achieve a healthier and more comfortable pregnancy.

Both you and your partner will be guided through a three-month health and wellness journey to achieve optimal health for a successful pregnancy. It takes two healthy parents to create a healthy baby! The foundations of your journey will consist of nutrition, hydration, supplementation, exercise, relaxation, and most importantly, chiropractic care. Our priority is supporting you physically and mentally through all stages of your pregnancy. The current standard of care for a postpartum mother is one visit shortly after giving birth and a final 6 week follow-up appointment. We believe moms deserve more. We provide a follow up exam to moms, ideally within days of delivery. We recommend a minimum of 12 weeks of follow-up care including chiropractic care, nutritional advice, and emotional support. We recognize each mother’s experience is unique, and we look forward to being a part of your journey!
